The House

Sandy Point Getaway is a modern beach house, just a few minutes walk from Sandy Point Surf Beach. It is a short drive from Shallow Inlet, a popular place for fishing and windsurfing spot, and is a 20 minute drive to the entrance to Wilsons Promontory National Park.

With three spacious bedrooms, Sandy Point Getaway will sleep up to 4 adults and 3 children (2 queen size beds, a single bed and a bunk bed). It is an ideal getaway for a young family or one or two couples.

Sliding glass doors overlook the deck and rear garden, bringing the outdoors inside. The large windows let in fresh sea air and make for a breezy atmosphere. The deck is equipped with sun lounges, barbeque and outdoor table and chairs. The garden is fully fenced and backs onto farmland at the rear. It is safe and secure for children and dogs alike, and is a restful place to enjoy a drink or a BBQ while the kids play on the grass.

Sandy Point Getaway has a full size bath, a separate shower and W/C. A plastic baby bath is also available if necessary. Bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. There is a laundry with an automatic washing machine, trough and tumble drier.

Dogs are welcome at Sandy Point Getaway. They can walk off the lead on parts of Sandy Point surf beach, at certain times of the year. Though not allowed in the house a kennel is provided to give them the shelter outside (please bring your own dog bedding).

The open plan kitchen is bathed in sunlight during the day and is adjacent to a cosy dining area. This opens to a huge deck for outdoor dining with views to the garden and farmland. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, utensils, pots, pans, ovenware and glasses (including wine, champagne and beers glasses).   Salt, pepper and olive oil is provided for cooking. There is a large fridge, gas cooker, electric oven, toaster, kettle, microwave and coffee plunger.

The air-conditioned lounge room is furnished with comfortable leather lounges, TV, Blue Ray Player, CD player and digital music player/speaker. A wide variety of DVD’s are supplied as well as some CD’s. There are board games, boule, cards, adults and kids books all provided for rainy days or when you have had enough of the beach. The children’s bedroom has a range of toys supplied to keep kids of all ages happy.
